Tea or coffee are good choices for a nice light brown or beige color. Onion skins (the dry papery ones on the outside of yellow onions) will give a very nice yellow. Same drill as the tea or coffee - boil the clothing with the skins and salt (1 c. or so) until you get the intensity you're looking for. The salt is necessary to set the color.

Regular, straight lemon juice has bleaching qualities, and as one other stated coffee or tea can stain, as can any berry juice or even Kool Aid

I can't really determine if the Q is rhetorical, or you're looking through your pantry right now for an emergency bleach agent because you've got a load of laundry running.

Tea and coffee will dye clothes. You would need to boil the clothes in a solution of either, with some salt in the water. The more tea or coffee, the darker the colour. Also, gum leaves boiled in the water will also dye clothing. You could experiment with various leaves from the garden to see if colour will leach out.

Concentrated sunlight will actively fade clothes to the point of looking bleached. It takes some time though. Works best with a window that gets a LOT of sunlight.
