What are some of the easiest DIY projects in automotive repair/maintenance?

I’m interested in learning how to take care of my car, in terms of maintenance and repair. What projects besides oil change, transmission fluid change, and air filter replacement are easy enough for a novice? Assume that I have rhino ramps, basic tools (ratchet set), and maybe a jack and jack stand. Thanks!

distributor cap, rotor (the one under the distributor cap), fuel filter, air filter (is a joke easiest thing), oil changes if you have room to do them, rotating the tires, valve cover gasket, brake bleeding (requires 2 people or self bleeder screws), Clutch bleeding (also requires 2 people but same exact concept of break bleeding). and thats pretty much it
Doing brakes is not exactly brain surgery! Do one brake job for yourself and you’ll wonder why they charge so much at a shop. Buy a caliper spreader and a shop manual for your vehicle and you’ll amaze yourself what all you can do.
First Get yourself the book for your car and review the owners manual for preventative maintenance charts and schedule oil changes and vehicle lube are one key component in maintenance as you progress you will learn if you thoroughly study the book and follow directions try a haynes manual at auto zone about $20 and go from there
You can save a tremendous amount of money if you read all you can concerning the entire braking system on your car. Simple brake pad, rotor re-surfacing, rotor replacement, caliper slider pin lubrication, rotor thickness measuring, bleeding brakes when necessary and picking and choosing better parts along the way.
Pick up a Haynes or Chiltons manual at any auto-parts store for your specific car. You will see tons of car maintenance procedures.
Learn how to drain, flush and *cleaning your cooling system which gets neglected by most people. Read your tire tread depths and adjust pressures on the high side when ever possible. Maximum tire pressures are posted on the tire sidewall. Use name brand oil filters. Wix, Denso, Motorcraft and Purolator Gold are the best you can lay your hands on.
