The ‘cost’ if you do it yourself depends on the ‘wood and metal’ you’ll use … go to your lumber yard or home improvement store with the ‘measurements’ and a ‘list’ of the ‘metal’ (used for ’security’ to hold the wood in place) you’ll need. And it’s not a ‘porch’ you want to build, if the ‘picture’ shows what you want … it’s a ‘deck.’ If you can ’scale down’ to a ‘porch like deck’ that is only about 4′ deep and goes from one end of your house to the other, and use ‘premade’ stuff it should be much ‘less expensive’ than the deck in the pictures … and if you decide you want to ‘expand’ later it’s easier since you just ‘add on’ with ‘flooring’ going in the other direction as an ‘art point’ … but you should be able to build your own ‘porch’ for anywhere between $500 and $1500 depending on the wood you want to use.
