A friend is AC cert. I need a new heatercore in my 2001 Nissan Frontier. Is this a DIY car repair for my truck?

Not only air bags but removing the entire dash board structure to get to the heater A/C box. Then you have to take that box apart to get to the heater core.. Is coolant actually leaking inside or out the drain. Lots of times just tightening the two heater hose firewall clamps, or is it just a clogged A/C drain and clear water getting the carpets wet? I remove the battery cables 10 minutes to dis arm the air bags the main wiring harness plugs in along both sides I would not attempt this with our some experience of Nissan’s dash construction.. 9 year old plastic can break and *****.
