@spongebob1227 There’s no reason to be snarky. She’s just using big 80s glasses as a fun fashion, that’s all.
@webeducation What a great idea!
Thanks for this idea. I made a blossom lampshade for my nursery and it looks fantastic. Great project for someone on a tight budget! Only cost me $4 to make
is the one on design sponge made of felt?
“this just in, some people are still using harsh overhead lighting”
“this just in, some people are still using huge, way to big glasses”
@dzerimar
i think she said felt.
How come on the Handmade for Haiti thing, Corinne always says “click on me,” but there is never a link box! XD
@dzerimar felt
What type of fabric is the circles?
I smile every time she says your nest needs you
Could cotton ovals usually used to apply toner to your face be used instead?
these are nice and I jsut had the idea of using face cleansing pads and glue them up on the lamp shade like hse did.
i think its a shirt collar and yeah it is the same
does she have a necklace (or shirt collar) with the same technique of the lamp?
@IEatCows me too!
@yubbles09 the version on her desk is red! Most of those ideas could be adapted for colour. The reason white is so popular is it is more transparent, so more light can get through.
Bottle lamps?
I’ve got so many beautiful old bottles lying around – this is perfect!
@koliver06 Unfortunately, I haven’t seen an idea for a teacup chandelier. It just popped into my mind when I read your post here.
I think you could make two rings with a broad, flat surface, one ring being bigger than the other one. The bigger one comes first, the smaller one is placed above it. And than you could glue teacups onto the rings, so you’ll have two layers of teacups. And for the lighting: you could put christmas lights in the teacups, or twist christmas lights all around.
@Mrijk1206 have you seen ideas on how to make a teacup chandelier? I love that idea!
I love this! I’ve been trying to get my boyfriend to let me do something similar to this with one of our lamps but hes being weird about it lol
maybe if different colored felt it used it wouldnt look like that because i thought the same thing. if it all wasnt one color it would look better
make one of those multiple tiered .. plate..shelves.. that they did in one of the past few episodes.
@katrinavlogs I gave you a thumbs up for the typos LOL . This was an awesome idea!
Why all white?
Color please!
omg i looooove your colored sewing machine
